Dozens of former Kamaiyas arrested

Nothing is permanent but change.
The same government which came to power using Mob and Goon protests is today surpressing every kind of peaceful protest in Nepal using the help of it’s terrorist partners. Wasn’t it the same government that was talking about “people’s right to protest’ and ‘power to dalits’ before coming to power. Well, short sightedness is Nepali genes.
Arrests, extortions, rapes, killings are the order of the day. We just thought some of us you may be watching (terrorism) Democracy, Nepal style. Ohhh and where did all the media reports go on the Human Rights violence in Nepal? Hello…is anyone listening?

Dozens of former Kamaiyas arrested
Police have taken into custody nearly 100 former Kamaiyas (bonded labourers) as they were trying to organise a protest program in front of Singha Durbar demanding for land and employment opportunities for them.

The government had abolished the practice of bonded laborers six years ago on July 18. Out of over 35,000 bonded labourers from ethnic Tharu communities in four districts of western Nepal, 19,000 former Kamaiyas are yet to get a piece of land as promised by the government, according to reports.
Details to follow.

Maobadis are slowly realizing the futility of joining hands with SPA. Nothing gets done. SPA are leeches trained to feed on choaus. Now, the realization also has set in to Maoist as well to general people- the whole affair of Andolan was done by the INDIA.
How about Maoist kicking out Indian nationals from Nepal- as reported in the newspapers today. SPA- feel they have the support of other countries are mistakenly walking the rope that the maoist built for them- any day now, it will tear and nation will face the wrath of Maoist as well SPA will face the possible extinction. WHat may came up as an alternative is open toanyone.
