You do not make any sense. Your argument is so incoherent that I cannot even follow it.

We are not talking about BBC getting money from the UK Govt, whether English people want to support BBC, or how much power and money Murdoch has. Those are different issues. Stop diverging and come to the point we are discussing. What we are talking about is whether People’s Review has any credibility after getting money from the Royal Govt.

Some countries have Govt. funded media eg. Gorakhaptra, and BBC. However, those Govt. owned media getting money from the Govt and People’s review getting money are different issues. Govt owned media get money from Govt because they are owned by the Govt and everyone knows that their ties to the Government. However, when a media house that claims to be independent and gets a bribe from the Govt to write positive news, then there is a huge ehtical issue. It is not only an ethical issue but also a criminal issue.

I am not surprised that you guys at OhNepal are not concerned about People’s Reveiew’s credibility because you want Kamal Thapa, Sharad Chandra, et. al crooks to be back in the power at any cost. You do not care about laws of the country, freedom to dissent, ethics, corruption etc as long as you can go back to power.

Some irrespponsible points you made in your comments and here we are giving you the reasons why they were irresponsible and illogical.

BBC is a state media and funded (almost in total) by Government of Britain…so it supports the rhetorics of British Government at least when it comes to National interests.

Between, in which country does not media receive money…Look Southwards and you see a country called India…look seven seas westwards and you see USA…and go Down South to Australia.

Murodchs and Packers have the money to make or break government in any country and the Government has the ways to control it’s media. Both are partners in rhyme and crime.

Now similarly, if People’s Review did receive money from the then HMG’s goverment you can pass it as another example of state garnering support through it’s media. But but but, what is the proof that People’s Review did receive the money…oh the Government of Terrorism of SPAM said that after grabbing power? Okay, we can pass it as another rubbish from SPAMmers.

Well, as the valuable readers and commentators of this blog have pointed out already and as it is a now known fact…it was the SPAMers who funded their media publicity for Mob and Goon movement…Didn’t Himalayan Times already report on Kantipur’s sudden crores of bank amount deposit after the goon movement?
Now, even if we accept that the then HMG’s government funded People’s Review, it was just to surpress the terrorism and violence that was spreading…what logic do you give for Kantipur and other media houses (funded by SPAM and of course the very well known foreign governments) supporting terrorists?

Simple and period. Go back and read make your arguments carefully.

P.S.: Did you know that many media houses in Britain and also the British Public want the British Government to stop funding BBC…wel the reasons and more on that story for another day.
